Barry Leighton
Barry is co-founder of LBL. He holds an MA in Jurisprudence from Oxford University. He has been advising in a number of sectors in the UK since 1987. His corporate finance career started at Kleinwort Benson and developed internationally at Paribas, Société Générale (SG Hambros & SG Cowen) and Rabobank, where he was Head of M&A for the UK and Ireland.
David Leighton
David is co-founder of LBL. He spent 33 years with HSBC in eight countries with direct management experience in most aspects of the business, from Corporate and Commercial banking, to Credit & Risk and Operations, leading in the latter stages of his career to a specialisation in bank turnarounds, notably in Argentina and Mexico, where he was Chief Operating Officer immediately following their acquisition. David retired from LBL in 2019.
